This year’s UQ New Colombo Plan Scholar Liam Lyttle has recorded a video from where he is currently studying at the Laucala campus at the University of the South Pacific, Fiji.
He advises all interested in this prestigious fellowship to take the opportunity to apply to become a ‘mini-ambassador’ from Australia to our region.

- Undertake courses at UQ to understand the context of the country and region you are interested in and to provide foundational knowledge to assist your application.
- Hone down on the core skills the application requires – critical thinking, adaptability and resilience. Give examples from your own life of how you have applied these skills.
- Consider which country (and region) interests you, and what you wish to learn about them.
