The New Colombo Plan Scholarship Program is a prestigious scholarship scheme that provides an opportunity for high-achieving Australian undergraduate students to undertake study and work placements, for one or two semesters, in host locations across the Indo-Pacific region. Under this programme, PhD students from outside Singapore will spend a minimum of one to a maximum of two years at A*STAR Research Institutes in Singapore under the joint supervision of the staff of the A*STAR Research Institutes and the overseas universities.

ICETEX Postgraduate Scholarships program, led by the Colombian Embassy, allows foreigners to study in Colombia in Semester 1, 2020. The ICETEX Scholarship covers tuition costs, a monthly stipend, set-up costs, health insurance, visa costs, and contributions towards books and incidentals.

The Gates Cambridge Scholarship programme was established in October 2000 by a donation of US$210m from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to the University of Cambridge. Scholarships are awarded to outstanding applicants from countries outside the UK to pursue a full-time postgraduate degree in any subject available at the University of Cambridge.

ThinkSwiss Research Scholarship program provides grants to students enrolled at Australian universities for a three-month research internship at a Swiss University. Bachelors and masters students enrolled at UQ are encouraged to apply.
Applications accepted 1 October through 31 January each year.

The McDonnell International Scholars Academy fellowship program cultivates a community of culturally and academically diverse leaders who will address the world’s most complex challenges by driving positive and lasting change. McDonnell Scholars are selected based on their ability to emerge as leaders. Scholars are given a generous financial package to support their graduate and professional degree studies at Washington University in St. Louis.

Cambridge Australia Scholarships (CAS) provides scholarships for Australian graduates to undertake Masters and PhD studies at the University of Cambridge, England. To be eligible, all applicants must have first been accepted to attend the University of Cambridge in their chosen course.

The Frank Knox Memorial Fellowships are awarded to students from Australia for graduate study at Harvard University in academic year 2022-2023. Knox Fellows are selected through a rigorous competitive process on the basis of academic excellence, strength of character, and potential for leadership in their field. A Knox Fellowship pays full Harvard tuition, mandatory health insurance fees and a stipend sufficient to cover living expenses for a 10-month academic year.

The Prince Faisal bin Fahad Award is an international research grant program targeted at sports research projects related to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Award will allow researchers to apply for funding of USD$80,000 to $120,000 to support their research. A total of USD$1M will be awarded.
