7 initiatives awarded for the UQ Global Partnerships Funding Scheme

After a competitive selection process, 7 initiatives have been awarded funding totalling $100,000 for Round Two of the University of Queensland (UQ) Global Partnerships Funding Scheme in 2025.

To support the successful implementation of the Global Engagement Framework, the Global Partnerships Funding Scheme has been created to assist UQ faculties, institutes and units to pursue activities with specific international partners that will strengthen the impact of UQ’s global network.

Congratulations to the successful applicants:

  • UQ Faculty of Health, Medicine and Behavioural Sciences - King’s College London (UK); Digital Health, Education, and AI Learning for the health workforce (DIGI-HEAL); a collaborative UQ-UK partnership
  • UQ Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Information Technology - VinUniversity, VinMotion, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT) (Vietnam); Next-Gen Robotics: Bridging Technology, Health and Sustainability
  • UQ Faculty of Health, Medicine and Behavioural Sciences - University of Edinburgh (Scotland); Joining forces to understand power and influence in health and climate
