Yes, as long as your Faculty can verify you cannot enrol in additional courses because of program restrictions to online study, the part-time enrolment will not impact your scholarship.

No, the scholarship was awarded for your original program of study. 

You can request to have your scholarship transferred to your new program, but there is no guarantee the scholarship will be transferred over to the new program.

The International Admissions Office is responsible for the promotion and awarding of your scholarship and the Sponsored Students Unit is responsible for the management of the terms and conditions of your scholarship once you commence your studies. 

The Sponsored Students Unit manages a wide range of students with scholarships from overseas funding bodies, so they have been tasked with managing the terms and conditions for the suite of Future Students Scholarships.

Yes, you would be sent a “Scholarship Show Cause” letter advising that you have not met a condition of your scholarship. 

You will have an opportunity to provide a statement and any evidence to support your statement on what impacted your academic performance and any items you have put in place to eliminate these factors in future. A Scholarship Show Cause committee will meet to review and documentation provided and you will be advised of an outcome. 

Yes, the letter advising you of the cancellation of your scholarship will provide you with the process to appeal the decision.

Unfortunately, “no” your scholarship will be terminated. 

This is because the scholarships’ terms and condition state The University will terminate the scholarship if the recipient does not enrol in a relevant program in the proposed semester of commencement. You can request to be considered for the scholarship round for the semester you plan to start your degree.

If you have a clause in your scholarship terms and conditions that state a scholarship will be terminated if you do not maintain enrolment for two semesters, your scholarship would be terminated.
