Dr Giuliana Oyola-Lozada

Dr Giuliana Oyola Lozada is a Research Fellow and a guest lecturer in Biotechnology at The University of Queensland, Australia. She holds a Bachelor's in Biology from the University Ricardo Palma (Peru), a Master's in Policy and Management of Science, Technology, and Innovation from the University Cayetano Heredia (Peru), and a Doctorate in Biotechnology from The University of Queensland (Australia).

Dr Oyola Lozada's expertise lies in the regulation of novel biopharmaceutical products, focusing on the role of adaptive regulatory capabilities in accelerating biomedical and medtech innovations, including vaccines, biosimilars, and AI-based medical devices. She is also involved in various international collaborations and research projects studying regulatory mechanisms to streamline the development and commercialisation of medical products.
