Isabel B. Franco, PhD, MA, MBAc (IBF), is a highly experienced executive advisor and author specialising in the intersection of business and sustainable development, with over 15 years of international development and corporate sustainability expertise.
 
As the Founder and Executive Director of IBF, she leads the International Innovation Board for Better Futures, supporting over 25 countries in corporate sustainability, responsible business practices, risk assessment, climate change, and sustainable development. IBF, established in 2014, has evolved into a global consulting firm and the International Institute for Better Futures (IBF), focusing on executive and policy advisory, forums, digital innovations, and thought leadership. IBF hosts the Women Sustainability Forum and the International Forum for Better Futures.
 
Dr Franco is a global expert in co-creating impactful projects across diverse industries and contexts, leveraging her advisory, policy, and scientific background. Her work has influenced large sustainability and renewable energy projects worth over $30 billion for renowned organizations. She's also contributed significantly to academic research and has held editorial roles. Her latest book titles ‘Corporate Approaches to Sustainable Development: International Experiences and Insights’.
 
Her accolades include the United Nations University - Japan Society for the Promotion of Science Fellowship, UQ International Scholarship recipient and recognition as a UQ Future Leader.
