What does active learning look like?
Participants in the workshop will engage in active learning while learning about active learning in higher education. Digital technologies will be used along with interactive pedagogies. Participants will leave the workshop with a real experience of active learning pedagogies and new evidence-based understandings about the effectiveness and current rationale for moving to active learning in higher education.

This online professional development workshop is open for academic staff of UQ Global Connect Scheme Partners only. Registration closes on 14 April 2024. Zoom link will be sent to registrants after the registration close date.
Workshop facilitator:
Kelly Matthews is a Professor of Higher Education and an internationally respected expert on student voice and student partnership in higher education. At UQ, she is an elected member of the Academic Board and its executive committee. Her leadership has been recognised with numerous awards, most recently with a Principal Fellowship from the UK-based Higher Education Academy.
