Finding metrics for your research publications - UQ Global Connect Scheme Workshop
Participants in this workshop will learn about various publication databases that are openly available such as Dimensions and PatCite (the Lens).
The workshop will allow participants to develop an understanding of metrics and some of the common metrics indicators available in these databases. Participants will also learn how to develop statements about their research performance which may be used in grant applications.

Presenters
- Ms Uti Mulatiningsih joined the Research Outputs and Impact team in 2022. Her daily job includes providing training and support to Library staff and others in matters related to research output and impact evaluation. Prior to this role, she served as a Liaison Librarian for both the School of Psychology and the School of Biomedical Sciences within The University of Queensland Library.
- Ms Joy Schonrock has been a member of the Research Outputs and Impact team for 8 years providing detailed metrics reports for individuals, groups of researchers, and the University as well as providing face to face and online training in using metrics tools. Prior to joining the metrics team, Joy worked as a librarian liaising with students and staff of the Science faculty at The University of Queensland.
