DFAT Australia-Korea Foundation Grant 2022-2023
The Australia-Korea Foundation seeks to strengthen the Australia-Korea relationship in ways that enhance mutual understanding and people-to-people links.

Global Engagement and Entrepreneurship provides Global Strategy Framework and Partner Engagement Strategy. The Global Strategy and Partnerships (GSP) team welcome inquiries to identify potential partners in Korea.

Funding
The estimated grant value is from $5,000 to $40,000 per year.
Subsidy of general ongoing administration of an organisation such as electricity, phone, rent, salaries (including for research assistants or administrative staff), honorariums or administrative charges levied by the applicant's organisation are not normally funded. Your finance unit can assist in developing your proposed budget.
How to Apply
Step 1. Completing the application
Australia-Korea Foundation 2022 Grant Guidelines are available from the DFAT website. All applications must be submitted by the applicant electronically using the SmartyGrants online application form.
The GSP team will provide a letter of support template, application cover sheet template to be completed by the applicant, brief UQ capacity statement and information on UQ’s engagement in the country of your application upon request. Please allow five days for the GSP team to process the letter of support. Letter of support will be issued after the signed cover sheet is received by the GSP team.
Step 2. GSP internal review and feedback
If you require a review from GSP on compliance and feedback, please email your application to the GSP team by 4 May.

Request a letter of support and GSP review on application for eligibility and compliance (if required) by 2 May 2022.
