Lawyer and career Diplomatic, graduated from the Chilean Diplomatic Academy, Ambassador Jaime Chomali has served in Europe, Latin America and Asia. Prior to his assignment as Ambassador to Australia, he was Ambassador to Vietnam concurrent to Laos, Ambassador-designate to China and Ambassador to Ethiopia, concurrent to Djibouti and Observer to the African Union. In Chile he has worked as diplomatic coordinator in the Ministry of Publics Works and the President office. In the Ministry of Foreign affairs, he serves as Deputy Director at the Technology, Energy and Innovation Division. His last post was Human Rights Director.
