Thoa Harring

Within the Global Strategy and Partnerships team, Thoa is the dedicated Manager for the Southeast Asia region, with focus countries for engagement including Indonesia and Vietnam.

Thoa has extensive professional experience in higher education and the international development sector. Prior to the role at Global Strategy and Partnerships, her work in the UQ International Development team supported the translation of UQ’s expertise into development outcomes in various countries around the world. Under these high-level government-funded programs, Thoa acquired valuable knowledge of the Australian Government’s national diplomatic and security imperatives, and the policy frameworks informing bilateral and regional relationships. Thoa has worked at universities in Vietnam and Australia, at the United Nations office, and at Queensland's Department of Education and Training.
