Adam joined the International Development team in 2016 and is responsible for the delivery of UQ’s international development projects and activities, with a specific focus on short term capacity development initiatives. During his time with the team, he has managed the delivery of seven DFAT-funded Australia Awards short courses in Australia, Indonesia, South Africa and Ghana and has supported the delivery of the Precinct Leadership Programs in Papua New Guinea across 2018-2019. He brings to the team over 15 years of work experience in community and international development, social work and project and event management. 

Adam has worked for the government, NGOs and private enterprise in a range of areas across three continents throughout his career, with a focus on youth engagement and leadership development, refugee settlement, community capacity building and health promotion.
