Nicole Patterson

Nicole graduated from The University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Arts, Japanese and the University of New England with a Graduate Diploma in Education. She has worked in various public and private sector roles in Japan.

Nicole managed the education portfolio as Business Development Manager for the Queensland Government at Trade and Investment Queensland in Japan. Since returning to Australia, Nicole has held several senior roles within the Queensland Government, Higher Education and not-for-profit sectors. She successfully enables clients, partners, and teams to achieve strategic goals and significant outcomes for Queensland and Australia. She has significant expertise in global trade and investment, client engagement, business development and strategic partnership management.

Nicole Patterson commenced as Senior Manager, Global Strategy and Partnerships at UQ in August 2022.
