Daphne is the Principal Strategic Partnerships Officer for Greater China. In her role, she supports the development and management of high-impact international partnerships in the Greater China region, aligning these collaborations with UQ’s strategic growth, global engagement, and long‑term institutional priorities. Prior to her current position, she was an International Visits and Events Officer, leading the planning and delivery of events and visits for international delegates to UQ, enhancing the University’s global connections through thoughtful engagement.

Daphne graduated from UQ with a Bachelor of Laws/Arts (Hons), majoring in Japanese, and went on to complete a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (admitted in 2017). Before joining Global Partnerships, she worked extensively in project support and administration for short‑term programs involving UQ partner universities, government agencies, and high school cohorts from around the world. Her interest in event management began during her tertiary studies through student society roles and later grew professionally as an events project officer within UQ’s Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences.

A multilingual communicator, Daphne speaks Cantonese and Japanese natively, is proficient in Mandarin, and is currently studying Korean.
