Rachel leads the Intelligence and Engagement team, who provide top-tier communication support, intelligence, and analytical data crucial for shaping and executing UQ's global and entrepreneurship strategies. Her team excels in orchestrating high-profile international visits to UQ, often involving UQ's senior executive leadership team. Additionally, her team plays a pivotal role in coordinating Senior Executive Missions and a diverse array of engagement events, both offshore and onshore.

Having worked closely with the higher education sector in previous positions in technology, media, and advertising with both a domestic and international lens, Rachel brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective. Her multifaceted expertise in marketing, communications, experience, and stakeholder management positions her to drive impactful outcomes for the Intelligence and Engagement team, as well as contribute to the overarching strategic goals of Global Partnerships at UQ.

Originally from New Zealand, Rachel holds a Bachelor of Arts (Classical Studies/History) and a Graduate Diploma (Marketing/History) from the University of Otago. She has undertaken extensive professional development in her areas of experience in marketing communications, business strategy, and advertising at both institutional and industry levels.
