Saravanan Nagarathinam

Saravanan (Saran) Nagarathinam started as Manager, Strategy and Partnerships at the University of Queensland (UQ) in May 2024.

Formerly, Saran was working as International Partnerships Manager at the Faculty of Engineering and Information Sciences, University of Wollongong (UOW) Australia. He has over 12 years of experience with proven track record in establishing strategic partnership with leading institutions, student mobility, credit transfer articulations, future student recruitment, compliance, admissions, strategy and business development, engagement with industries, research, and government relations in South Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.

Prior to his time in Australia, Saran has worked in India and Dubai for over 10 years in the petrochemical sector in marketing strategy, business development and technical sales. 

Saran has a Master of Business Administration (with Distinction) and Master of Project Management from UOW (Australia), Bachelor of Business Administration from Madras University (India), Postgraduate Diploma in Plastics Mould Design and Technology from Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology, CIPET (India).
