Lene has a background in management consulting, project delivery and international development, and has worked extensively with the energy and resources sectors in Australia and in Africa. She has a mixed academic background with a Bachelor of Languages and Literature, a Master of Commerce (International Business) and a Master of International Development Practice. At UWA/UQ’s international mining for development centre, Lene gained experience in delivering DFAT short courses which will support her in the Development Coordinator role within UQID.  Lene enjoys getting to know people and how people best work together. She likes delving into problem solving and is particularly interested in how climate change impacts on human (im)mobility.
