Tana graduated from The University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Social Science/Arts, specialising in International Development. In her role within the Global Partnerships team, she coordinates high‑level events and manages visits from international delegates to UQ, supporting the University’s global engagement strategy.
Prior to joining the Global Partnerships team, Tana was actively involved in UQ’s student community, holding leadership roles within both the Latin American Students Association and the African Students Association. She also developed strong events and stakeholder‑management skills through her role as Reservations Manager for a Brisbane hospitality group, overseeing bookings and guest services across six high‑end venues.
Tana speaks Spanish fluently and is proficient in Italian and French. She has an intermediate level of Swahili.
