Mayara Silva Alves

Maya joined the Global Sponsorship and Mobility team from UQ's Future Students Conversion team, where she has spent the past four years supporting prospective students and developing strategies to enhance student engagement and conversion. Before joining UQ, she worked at Torrens University Australia and as an education consultant, bringing a broad understanding of the international student journey and the higher education sector. Drawing on both her professional experience and her own experience as an international student, Maya is passionate about delivering a student-centred experience and building strong connections across the University to support student success.
