The New Colombo Plan (NCP) Scholarship Program is a prestigious scholarship scheme that provides an opportunity for high-achieving undergraduate students to undertake study in one of the eligible host locations across the Indo-Pacific region.

In 2017, the Australian Government aims to provide around 100 NCP Scholarships. There is a range of support available, including travel and establishment allowances, and a monthly stipend of $2,500. To be considered applicants must:

  • Be an Australian citizen 
  • Be aged from 18 to 28 (inclusive) on 1 January, 2017
  • Be undertaking a Bachelor Degree or Bachelor Honours Degree at an Australian university, when the Scholarship Program commences
  • Have achieved a minimum 70 per cent graded average or equivalent for the undergraduate course at the time of application

This information session will prepare students for applying for this prestigious scholarship.
