Collaboration in action
- University of Queensland alumnus Dr Alue Dohong was awarded 2021 Australia Awards Indonesia alumnus of the year in a virtual presentation on 19 November 2021.
- Broadcaster and Communication Studies Program facilitator, Rocky Prasetyo Jati, talks about his experience at The University of Queensland (UQ) and Universitas Indonesia (UI) Bilateral Research Forum on Communication for Development and Social Change – Diverse Applications, One Goal.
- 10 collaborative research projects have been approved for $80,236 in funding in the 2021 UQ Global Strategy and Partnerships Seed Funding Scheme. A total of 17 eligible applications were received for this round amounting to $147,067 in requested funding.
- The University of Queensland received nearly 1.3 million in New Colombo Plan (NCP) mobility grants to support 367 students across 22 projects in 13 host countries.
- When COVID-19 hit Indonesia, it devastated industries such as fisheries. However, one sector has gone against the trend: seaweed farming.
- Nine collaborative projects have been approved for $85,384 in funding in the 2020 UQ Global Strategy and Partnerships Seed Funding Scheme.
