The University of Queensland’s (UQ) International Development unit hosted an opening ceremony in August 2019, for 46 participants undertaking Australia Awards Short Courses in Agribusiness (Africa) and Inclusive Governance for Effective Disaster Risk Reduction (Nepal).
The Integrated Criminal Justice System for Access to Justice Short Term Award is funded by the Australian Government through the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. The Award is managed by Australia Awards in Indonesia (AAI) and is being delivered by The University of Queensland’s International Development unit.
The University of Queensland is supporting female Sri Lankan Government officials in combating under-representation in senior leadership positions through a customised Australia Awards Short Course delivered by UQ International Development.
Sixty emerging leaders from African agricultural industries are in Queensland for an intensive development program to help them tackle challenges of sustainable economic development in their own countries.
