Collaboration in action
- University of Queensland student Ruby Wallace headed to Jakarta in the summer break as a part of a new internship program offered for third year communications students at the UQ Indonesia Office.
- UQ student Patrick Walsh, 22, is one of seven UQ undergraduate students to receive New Colombo Plan scholarships in this round, with other recipients heading to Indonesia, Singapore, Japan and South Korea.
- University of Queensland student Wenny Sunarharum received the prestigious 2015 Australia Awards Hadi Soesastro Prize from Minister of Foreign Affairs, The Hon Julie Bishop MP, at a ceremony in Canberra last month.
- Many future global leaders who graduated from The University of Queensland this July are now looking forward to returning home to create change in communities around the world.
