Collaboration in Europe
- In partnership with the Australia-United Kingdom Chamber of Commerce, National Australia Bank and the Investment NSW, and The University of Queensland is delighted to feature in the second Rethink, Reset 2021 report on ‘The Road to Net Zero.’
- The University of Queensland’s Dr Benjamin Pope and colleagues at the Dutch national observatory ASTRON have been searching for planets using the world’s most powerful radio telescope Low Frequency Array (LOFAR) situated in the Netherlands.
- Increasing reforestation efforts in coastal regions could substantially reduce the amount of sediment run-off reaching coral reefs and improve their resilience, a University of Queensland-led study has found.
- Nine excellent initiatives have been approved for $74,350 in funding in the 2021 UQ Global Strategy and Partnerships Seed Funding Scheme. A total of 19 eligible applications were received for this round, amounting to $171,350 in requested funding.
- 10 collaborative research projects have been approved for $80,236 in funding in the 2021 UQ Global Strategy and Partnerships Seed Funding Scheme. A total of 17 eligible applications were received for this round amounting to $147,067 in requested funding.
- Building on existing joint research in agriculture, criminal law, and psychology, The University of Queensland (UQ) and the University of Zurich (UZH) strategic partnership plan will solidify its long-standing cooperation and expand global impact.
