Collaboration in action
- University of Queensland legal researchers are spearheading the formation of an international network of experts to help address global issues such as cybercrime, food security, and climate change.
- Nine collaborative research projects have been approved for $74,524 in funding in the first round of the 2018 UQ Global Strategy and Partnerships Seed Funding Scheme.
- Four researchers are preparing to travel to the United States of America to advance their work after being awarded Fulbright Scholarships.
- The University of Queensland’s reputation for global student exchange has helped attract 62 Australia Awards – Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships for 2018, the most of any university in Australia.
- Eight collaborative research projects – ranging from chemical biotechnology, to health and archeological science – have been successful in the second round of the 2017 UQ Global Strategy and Partnerships Seed Funding Scheme.
- University of Queensland student Ryan Harris is heading to Capitol Hill in Washington for a two-month internship in the office of Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen.
