Collaboration in action
- More than 400 University of Queensland students will have the valuable opportunity to travel to the Indo-Pacific region to gain practical experience next year under the New Colombo Plan Mobility program.
- Telei’ai Dr Lalotoa Mulitalo of Samoa recently completed her 2017 Greg Urwin Awards placement with the launch of a publication she authored, Legislative Drafting in the Pacific Context, at the University of Queensland’s TC Beirne School of Law in Australia on Friday 14 July.
- A new website hosting interviews with prominent Papua New Guineans on the period leading up to and following that nation’s independence from Australia in 1975 has been launched today.
- A University of Queensland TC Beirne School of Law PhD graduate has received a prestigious grant to work with UQ researchers on developing her thesis recommendations into practical guidelines for law reformers in the Pacific Islands.
- Seven University of Queensland undergraduates will study in destinations around the Indo‑Pacific region after being named as 2017 Fellows and scholars under the New Colombo Plan.
- 20 November 2016The Productive Partnerships in Agriculture Project (PPAP) aims to improve the livelihoods of smallholder cocoa and coffee producers through the improvement of performance and sustainability of value chains in cocoa and coffee-producing areas.
