Collaboration in action

  • Knowledge exchange in action
    UQ recently hosted two staff from the Technical University of Munich (TUM) as part of an ongoing program to provide professional development opportunities and to share best practices.
  • Strategic international initiatives receive seed grant funding
    Eleven collaborative research projects have been approved for $73,425 in funding in the second round of the 2018 UQ Global Strategy and Partnerships Seed Funding Scheme. A total of 28 eligible applications were received for this round amounting to more than $220,000 in requested funding.
  • Working towards a sustainable future
    UQ is rapidly expanding collaboration with the Technical University of Munich (TUM), Germany and Sao Paulo State University (UNSEP), Brazil in biotechnology and its impact on future economies.
  • UQ expands research links with Germany
    The University of Queensland (UQ) has taken another step towards deepening collaboration with one of Europe’s leading universities, with Vice-Chancellor and President Professor Peter Høj signing a joint PhD agreement with the Technical University of Munich (TUM). 
  • Seed funding supports nine international research projects
    Nine collaborative research projects have been approved for $74,524 in funding in the first round of the 2018 UQ Global Strategy and Partnerships Seed Funding Scheme.
  • UQ tops the table for 2018 Australia Awards Endeavour scholarships
    The University of Queensland’s reputation for global student exchange has helped attract 62 Australia Awards – Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships for 2018, the most of any university in Australia.
