- A UQ researcher is examining residents’ perceived wellbeing and life satisfaction in Ichikawa City in Japan in response to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games and government management of COVID-19.
- Nine excellent initiatives have been approved for $74,350 in funding in the 2021 UQ Global Strategy and Partnerships Seed Funding Scheme. A total of 19 eligible applications were received for this round, amounting to $171,350 in requested funding.
- Professor Di Yu from UQ's Frazer Institute has collaborated with scientists from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Beijing Chaoyang Hospital to demonstrate a potential improved treatment for two of the leading causes of blindness.
