Seed funding

Eleven collaborative research projects have been approved for $73,425 in funding in the second round of the 2018 UQ Global Strategy and Partnerships Seed Funding Scheme. A total of 28 eligible applications were received for this round amounting to more than $220,000 in requested funding.

Nine collaborative research projects have been approved for $74,524 in funding in the first round of the 2018 UQ Global Strategy and Partnerships Seed Funding Scheme.

Eight collaborative research projects – ranging from chemical biotechnology, to health and archeological science – have been successful in the second round of the 2017 UQ Global Strategy and Partnerships Seed Funding Scheme.

Ten collaborative research projects – ranging from bioengineering to the well being of refugees – have been successful in the first round of the 2017 UQ Global Strategy and Partnerships Seed Funding Scheme.

With support from the UQ Global Strategy and Partnerships Seed Funding Scheme coordinated by UQ Global Engagement, Associate Professor Eva Abal from UQ's Global Change Institute recently led an Australian Water Mission to explore possibilities for collaborative water management projects and capability transfer with Indian partners from industry, government and civil society.
